Dear Fathers and Brothers:

The One Hundred and Seventh Stated Meeting of the Presbytery of Southwest Florida will take place on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Redeemer Winter Haven in Winter Haven, FL (1410 Dundee Road, Winter Haven, FL 33884; 863-298-9849).

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m., and the meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. with a Worship Service. Teaching Elder Bob Brubaker, Pastor of Christ Community Presbyterian Church in Clearwater, FL, and last year’s Moderator, will preach to our Presbytery. Following the Worship Service, we shall have a Season of Prayer.

Once again, there is not much business on the Docket for this Stated Meeting of the Presbytery. Therefore, lunch will not be provided, as I expect to adjourn the Presbytery meeting around noon. However, we encourage Presbyters to have lunch at local restaurants before heading home.

The docket for the meeting, along with various attachments, will be available at our Presbytery website at: http://swfpresbytery.org/news/. Please check the website before coming to the Presbytery Meeting to download all the reports and documents, as they will not be provided at the meeting.

Be aware that the Presbytery agreed at the September 2015 meeting that appropriate attire for the Presbytery meetings is at least business casual.

Finally, please pray that the Lord will bless the work of the Presbytery as we meet on May 9.
